I’m forever telling people this, they just think I’m crazy and then tell me the iPhone is the most popular camera on flickr - this makes me sad and happy at the same time. At least people are taking pictures and exploring our visual world, but at the same time, there’s too many photos, too many mediocre photos and the truly amazing have to work harder to surface. Then again, maybe that’s a good thing too. (I did my major research project at uni on the shift to digital photography and how photo sharing websites have changed/affected things)
